Cauliflower 'Igloo'
Cauliflower 'Igloo'
Brassica oleracea
Cauliflower Igloo is an ideal choice for small gardens, easy to grow and a reliable, prolific crop for home gardeners. It produces tasty crisp white heads and can be grown in closely spaced rows (15 cm distance) or in blocks for delicious mini-cauliflowers. You can also grow it at a wider spacing (45 cm) for normal sized curds.
Rich in vitamin C, vitamin K and folate, and a good source of B-complex vitamins, manganese, phosphorus, and fiber and contains small amounts of protein, potassium and magnesium.
Tip! Cauliflower curds may "yellow" if they receive too much sun, rain, or frost. Secure the plants` long leaves over the cauliflower heads to insure beautiful white heads.
