Very easy to grow pepper fruit which, in dried form, is very popular in Mexican cuisine. Delicious in stews and sauces. Gives large harvests of moderately hot fruits. Remove the seeds before eating, they are the hottest. Use a knife and wash your hands properly afterwards. Thrives in a pot on the balcony or in a greenhouse. Fertilize and water regularly.

Pre-cultivation: Jan - March. Sow in moistened seed soil. Keep moist, cover with plastic. put in mini greenhouse. Set warm for germination (20-22°C). After emergence, bright and cooler. Use additional lighting. When the plants are big enough to handle, put 1/pot in fertilized soil. Plant out at 8°C as the lowest night temp.
