Just add water and you will immediately get a small powerful substrate ball. Due to its special nutrient mix it provides your seedlings with everything they need for a healthy start. When the roots have grown through the coir pellet your plant is ready to be potted-on as you would if you had sown your seeds in soil - but without disturbing the fine roots.
The coir pellets are 100% peat free. They consist of the natural product of coconut fibers which are almost incidentally won in the coconut harvest.
