Dill 'Gold Crown'
Dill 'Gold Crown'
Anethum graveolens L.
Organic seed. Well-known and popular herb. The variety has aromatic, fragrant, dark green and finely lobed leaves. Particularly suitable for harvesting as leaf dill, as it blooms much later than ordinary dill. Pick leaves by hand, about a month after emergence. Freezes well. Thrives in nutrient-rich, open, moisture-retaining and well-drained soil. Change the plant location every year. Water when dry.
Direct sowing: Early, as soon as the soil can be cultivated, to the beginning of August. Water in the seedbed before sowing. Germination time 2-4 weeks. Important to keep the seed moist. If sown closely in rows, thin the plants to 15cm as they grow. Repeat sowing every few weeks for fresh dill all summer.
