Smooth and large-leaved, fast-growing, very aromatic. No herb garden is complete without parsley! Placed in sun to partial shade. Thrives best in nutrient-rich, porous and moist loam soil.

Both curly and flat leaf parsley have their place in the herb garden and on the plate. Flat leaf parsley is more flavourful and easier to clean than the more decorative curly leaf parsley, making it the preferred choice of many for use in cooking.

Pre-cultivation: Sow in moistened soil, set at room temperature. After emergence, bright and cool. Plant out after last frost. Keep the soil moist after sowing until germination has started.

Direct sowing: Keep moist. Soaking the seeds for 2-3 days gives faster germination. Cover with fiber cloth. Also autumn sowing.
