Low shelling pea that can be sown early for an early harvest. You split the pea pods and eat only the peas. Harvest when the pod is about 9 cm. The taste is good, not too sweet. Good variety for northern climates. Suitable for freezing. Thrives in loamy, well-drained soil. Water regularly. Grow peas in different places in the vegetable garden every year - they fertilize the soil.
Direct sowing: May - June. Early, as soon as the soil can be cultivated. Soak the seeds a few hours before sowing. Water in the seedbed before sowing. Keep the seed moist until the seeds germinate. Repeat sowing at one month intervals for longer supply of fresh peas.
