Spinach 'Vroeg Reuzenblad'
Spinach 'Vroeg Reuzenblad'
Spinacia oleracea L.
Organic seed. Spinach can be grown in several different ways depending on the plant location and season. Rich content of minerals and vitamins. The variety produces plenty of dark green leaves. Harvest leaf by leaf, or cut back the entire plant - it will regrow.
Repeat sowing to have good access to fresh leaves, but take a break during the height of summer when the plants bolt more easily. Good variety for freezing. Thrives best in loamy, moisture-retaining soil but does well on most soils. Water abundantly.
Pre-cultivation: May-mid June, mid Aug-mid Sept. Can also be sown outside in late winter, and will germinate when the temperature is right.
