Brassica oleracea
Delicious cauliflower that forms open florets on long tender stems. Also called flowering cauliflower, sprouting cauliflower tastes much like common cauliflower with a nutty nuance. Can be enjoyed raw, cooked, sautéed, grilled or roasted.
Rich in vitamin C, vitamin K and folate, and a good source of B-complex vitamins, manganese, phosphorus, and fiber and contains small amounts of protein, potassium and magnesium.
