'California Wonder' produces large and juicy fruits. It is one of the most popular varieties of sweet pepper and is known for its sweet taste and mildness. The 'California Wonder' pepper has a rounded shape and usually reaches a size of 10-12 cm in diameter. Its fruits are thick and fleshy with a shiny red color when ripe, but they can also be harvested as green or yellowish when unripe.
This variety thrives best in warm and sunny climates. It is well suited for growing in gardens, pots or pallet collars.

This variety is relatively easy to grow and thrives in nutrient rich soil with good drainage. It needs regular watering and protection from pests and diseases. Does not tolerate standing in water.

Pre-cultivation: Feb - March. Sow in moistened seed soil and keep moist, cover with plastic or put in mini greenhouse. Set warm for germination (+20°C). After emergence, bright and cooler. Use additional lighting. When the plants are big enough to handle, put 1/pot in fertilized soil.
