Brassicas

The cabbage family includes a wealth of variety in color, form and season. Nutritious, delicious and so versatile in the kitchen, as well as easy to freeze in for winter use, brassicas are a lovely addition to any container or urban garden.

Head cabbages and tall brassicas will generally not grow quite as large in a container as in a bed, however we prefer to grow them in our GreenStalk vertical planters for the ease of care and protecting them from the cabbage whites!

Any variety found here, can successfully be grown in a container.
