Phaseolus vulgaris nanus
Early and reliable variety that produces beautiful yellow beans. The pods are approx. 12 cm long and thread-free. The pods ripen slowly, so you can harvest over a long period. Upright and bushy growth habit. Good variety for northern climates.
Place sunny and warm in well-drained, nutritious and moist soil. Water well during flowering.
Do not eat beans uncooked.
Pre-cultivation: April - May / 2-3 weeks before planting out after the last frost. Sow 1 seed/cell. Keep moist. Set warm (+25°C). After germination place in a light place at room temperature.
Direct sowing: May - July. Do not sow until soil temp. is 15°C. Rinse the seeds thoroughly before sowing. Water before sowing and keep moist until germination. Covering with fiber-cloth can keep the birds from getting at them first!
