Tasty, aromatic salad vegetable that is also used as a flavoring in many dishes. Easy to grow, but takes a long time - you can wait for the large stalks, or grow as cut-and-come-again smaller stalks. This variety has light yellow-green stems and leaves. and does not need to be blanched. Both leaves and stems can be used. Thrives in loamy soil. Fertilize and water abundantly. Harvest before the frost comes.
Celery does not like too much heat, provide shade on the hottest summer days.
Pre-cultivation: mid Feb - March. Sow sparsely on the surface of moistened sowing soil. Do not cover with soil. Keep moist and cover with plastic or place in mini greenhouse. Replant 1 plant/pot with fertilized soil. Place in a light and cool place. Plant out after the last frost.
