As the name suggests, 'Arctic King' is specially bred for autumn sowing and overwinters as a young plant before it can be harvested in the following spring. `Arctic King` is well known for its exceptional cold resistance. This large Butterhead variety produces tasty light green heads with crinkled leaves and a tight lime green center head. The leaves are tender, crisp and juicy.
