Lettuce 'Great Lakes 118'
Lettuce 'Great Lakes 118'
Lactuca sativa capitata
Firm, crisp head with excellent taste and good heat resistance. Stores nicely and remains crisp even when stored in the refrigerator for several days. Tip: layer with paper towels to prolong crispness in the fridge. A reliable heirloom variety still going strong after more than 100 years. Good source of vitamin A.
Excellent for harvest of outer leaves instead of heads when growing vertically, one of Grow Towers' favorites!
