An herb you can't live without in the southern kitchen! Shoots and leaves can be harvested continuously. Fits well in pots and patio boxes. Requires light to germinate - the seeds must not be covered with soil. Thrives in humus-rich soil.
Pre-cultivation: March-April. Sow on the surface of moist sowing soil and cover lightly with sand or vermiculite. Cover with plastic or place in mini greenhouse. Keep moist and set in light. Replant when big enough to handle, and plant out after last frost.
