Capsicum annuum L.
Early and high-yielding hybrid of 'Kapia' type hot peppers. Plants are of medium height. Fruits start as bright green and ripen to a vibrant dark red, 12-15 cm long, with 4 mm thick walls. A mild to moderately hot pepper with sweet, juicy taste, Draky F1 adds a flavorful kick to sauces, salads, stir-fries, and grilled dishes and is perfect for stuffing.
For growing in a greenhouse or very warm, sunny, sheltered location outdoors. Peppers need moisture, keep well watered but not wet. The capsaicin content in the fruits according to the Scoville scale is 500-1000.
Pinch back the tops for a bushier plant and increased fruit production.
Pre-cultivation: Mid-Feb to March. Sow in moistened soil. Keep moist, cover with plastic or put in mini greenhouse. Set warm for germination, 20-25°C. After emergence, bright and cooler. Use additional lighting for early sowing. When the plants are big enough to handle, put 1 plant/pot in fertilized soil. Plant out after last frost.
