Lettuce 'Dynamite'

Lactuca sativa capitata

Robust butterhead lettuce that is super-resistant to aphids and downy mildew. Rapid growing with a pleasant sweet taste. Produces medium-sized heads with thick, light green leaves. Requires a sunny location in nutrient- and humus-rich, moisture-retaining soil. Good source of beta-carotene.

Pre-cultivation: For earlier harvest, 3-4 weeks before planting out.

Direct sowing: Early, as soon as the soil can be cultivated - July. Water before sowing and keep moist during germination. Lettuce has difficulty germinating when the heat is too high, not above +20C.
